We suggest setting up the grill and maneuvering the grates around so you get a good feel for the full power and functionality of the cooking surfaces before putting it to use!

3

Keep your grill squeaky clean

When cleaning out the ash just isn’t enough, add some shine to your grill with these in-depth cleaning instructions:

Inner & Outer shell: Scrub with a rag using warm, soapy water. No harsh chemicals.

Charcoal grate: Get the grime out with an old toothbrush to help scrub between the raised fins. If rusty, treat as you would any cast iron pan:
1. Submerge in white vinegar for approx. 20 minutes. Use an old toothbrush and start brushing off the rust. If it doesn't start coming off right away, continue to submerge for as long as needed (stubborn rust might need an hour or so).
2. Pad dry and heat over direct fire (an oven burner works great) on high-heat for about a minute on each side.
3.Coat with a very light layer of oil (use a an old toothrbush to help spread the oil between the raised fins if needed - although it doesn't need to be perfect).
4. Heat over direct fire one more time - about a minute on each side - so the oil penetrates the cast iron and gives it that extra layer of shiny protection.
